Every year, Pakistan celebrates Kashmir Solidarity Day, also known as Kashmir Day, on the 5th of February. We commemorate this day as a symbol of our unity with the people of Indian Administered Kashmir as well as paying homage to those Kashmiris who have lost their lives in the conflict with the Indian army. Jammat-e-Islami instituted this day in 1990, and on this day, there is a public holiday all over the country. On this day, different people observe it in different ways.
